Friends of Amhara

Today, many citizens of Ethiopia are being systematically persecuted, imprisoned, maimed and killed. The majority of these people are part of the largest ethnic community in the country, known as the Amhara people. The Amhara people are facing unprecedented atrocities bordering on genocide, instigated by a dictatorial government only concerned with personal greed and power.

In response to these atrocities, The Bitew Foundation is forming a movement called Friends of Amhara (FOA). Our goal is to promote an opposition, voice our outrage, and ensure that the country protects the interests of all its inhabitants, not just a select few.

We aim to bring our plight to the attention of human rights organizations and powerful nations across the globe. We respectfully ask that you support us in our struggle to stop the disintegration of our community, stop the violence, and stop the governmental abuse. We are a people striving for our rights as any other country in the world. Thank you.

ዐማራን ወክሎ ከወያኔ ጋር ስለሰላምም ሆነ ስለትጥቅ ትግል አልፎም ስለመንግሥት መሥረታ መነጋገር ፈጽሞ አይቻልም፤ ዐማራ የተጨፈጨፈው በሦስት ዓመት ዕድሜ ውስጥ ብቻ አይደለም። በ17 ዓመት የወያኔ የሽፍተነት ዘመን፣ 27 ዓመት የወያኔ የመንግሥትነት ዘመን ወደኋላ ተጨምሮ ነው። ከውያኔ ጋር ሰላምን ወይም ትጥቅ ትግልን እናደርጋለን የሚሉ ሁሉ ውሾች ናቸው። "ውሻ ወደ ትፋቱ ይመለሳል" በምሣሌ 26፤11 እና 2ኛ ጴጥሮስ2፤22 የተጠቀሰውን መጽሐፋዊ ዘገባ በማንበብ ከውያኔ ጋር የመከሩትን የውሾች ባህሪ ለይቶ መረዳት ነው። ምስሉ ጸሃፊውን አይወክልም 1ኛ. የዐማራን ሕዝብ የመደብ ጠላት አድርጎ ወያኔን በደደቢት የመሠረተውና 17 ዓመት በትጥቅ ትግል 27 ዓመት በመንግሥትነት በደምሩ 44 ዓመት ከሰባት ሚሊዮን በላይ ዐማራን ሕዝብ ያለማቋረጥ ያስጨፈጨፈ፣ ርስቱን የነጠቀ በጀምላ የገደለ ያፈናቀለ፣ የትግራይን ሕዝብ ከኢትዮጵያዊ ቀዳሚ ሕዝብነቱና ማንነቱ ያስከዳ ስብሐት ነጋ ፤ 2ኛ. ከዐማራ ሕዝብ ይልቅ የሱዳን ሕዝብ ይሻለናል ብሎ በማይካድራ በጭና ዐማራን በከፍተኛ መራር በሆነ ጭካኔ ያስጨፈጨፈው፣ በመጨረሻ ተረጋግቶ መኖር ሲችል ዕቅድና ዓላማ በሌለው ጦርነት አንድ ሚሊዮን የትግራይ ወጣት ያስጨፈጨፈ፣ የትግራይን ሕዝብም ሆነ የዐማራን ሕዝብ አዘቅት ውስጥ የከተተ ደብረጽዮን ገብረሚካኤል ፤ 3ኛ. የወያኔ ተሿሚ ሆኖ የዐማራን መሬት ፀገዴና ጠገዴ እያለ እየከፋፈለ ለወያኔ ያስረከበ፣ የግጨውን መሬት ለወያኔ በችሮታ ፈርሞ የሰጠ፤ እነ ዶክተር አባቸው ለማስገደል ቅድመ ሁኔታዎችን ከአመቻቸ በኋላ ወደ አሜሪካ ሀገር ሾልኮ ወጥቶ ከተገደሉ በኋላ ተመልሶ ጥቁር ለብሶ የዓዞ እንባ ሲያነባ ሲመጻደቅ የነበረ የሕወሀትም ሆነ የብልጽግና ቀንደኛና ፊ...

ሻለቃ ዳዊትን በተለያዩ ምክንያቶችና ወቅቶች እንደ እኔ የተቻቸው ፈልጋችሁ አታገኙም። ያ ወቅት ሌላ ፤ ዛሬ ሌላ፤- ያ ዘመን ከ2010 ዓ.ም በፊት ነው። ሰው የነበረውን መስመር አስተካክሎ ባዲስ አካሄድ ወቅቱ በሚጠይቀው ጎዳና ከተራመደ ሌላ ምን ይፈለጋል? ዛሬ ግን ሻለቃው “ኢምፖስተር” በማለት የሚጠሩት ህቡእና ግልጽ ነብሰገዳይ ቡድን አሰማርቶ ነብስን የሚቀጭና የሚሰውር <<የወያኔ የነገድ አስተዳዳር አስቀጣዩ የኦሮሙማው የጋጠወጥ ማፍያዎች መሪ>> አብይ አሕመድ ከነገሠ ወዲህ ግን “ሻለቃው” አብይ አሕመድን እንቅልፍ ካሳጡት አርበኞች አንዱ ሆነው ብቅ ብለዋል። ያንን በማድረጋቸው “ጥበብ ሳሙኤል” የተባለ የአብይ አሕመድ አለቅላቂና ፀረ አማራና የሕግ ሙያ ትምሕርተ አለበት ተብሎ የሚነገርለት (?) ጋዜጠኛ:- አብይ አሕመድን በመደገፍ በሻለቃው ላይ ያለ ዕረፍት ረዢም ጊዜ ሲዘልፋቸው ያስገረመኝ ያህል፤ ሰሞኑን ደግሞ በሻለቃ ዳዊት ወ/ልደጊዮርጊስ ላይ አዳዲስ ዘላፊዎች ብቅ ብለዋል። “ሻለቃ ሆይ! በትግሉ ውስጥ ዛሬ ይኑሩ አይኑሩ አማራውን ለመታደግ ከፍታዎትን አሳይተዋል ፤የበኩልዎን አድርገዋል ለዚህም <<በአክብሮት ባርኔጣየን አነሳለዎታለሁ፤ አንኳን ደስ አለዎት !!!!>> አርበኛ ብቅ ባለ ቁጥር ሱሪውን የሚጎትቱ ብዙ የፖለቲካ ተውሳኮች አሉ። ሻለቃው በዛው ዕደሜአቸው የሚቻላቸውን በማድረጋቸውና ከፍታቸውን በማሳየታቸው ፤ ይህን በማድረጋቸው ዓይናቸው ከቀላ ውስጥ አንዱ ወደ “ጥንት ትፋቱ” የተመለሰው፤ በቅርቡ ከወያኔም ከኦነጎችም እየተወዳደሰ መተፋፋግ የጀመረው የወያኔው አሽከር “ኤርሚያስ ለገሰ” እና ዶ/ር አምሳሉ የተባለ “ከጎንደሬዎች እጅህን አንሳ” እያለ ሲከራከረኝ የነበረው እስከ ቅርብ ጊዜ ወዲህ የአብይ አሕመድ አወዳሽ የነበ...
